June 1 “Are You An EB?” Matthew 28:16-20

Christians today fear public scorn and media ridicule if they talk about their faith publicly and boldly. We often remain silent when opportunities to share our faith are given. We become what one author termed EB’s (Embarrassed Believers). How do we understand the call to evangelism in this 21st century?

We are still open to suggestions, so share an idea with us this Sunday or on the back of the Wednesday night dinner registration insert.

"Catching the Wind”

Acts 2:1-21

As one travels north on Interstate 39, one can see an array of wind farms. The

wind is a powerful energy source. Now wind farms are being developed to

capture the power of the jet air stream. Can the church catch the wind—the rush

of a powerful wind from God?

The First Sunday of each month is

Communion Sunday

In our Baptist tradition the bread is passed to the congregation during the observance of the Lord's Supper.  When all have been served, the worship leader will indicate that we partake together.  The same procedure will be followed for the sharing of the cup.

This is the Lord’s Table: All desiring to participate are welcome.

  

Child Care/Sunday School Provided for Infants Through 3 year old (10:00 -- 12:00). 

Choir Practice/Activities provided for 4 Year old through 8th Grade during Worship Service
(10:30  -- 11:00)

Ages 4 through 8th Grade

10:00 a.m. All will children are asked to sit with their parents for the beginning of the Worship Service. Children will be dismissed during Worship to attend Choir.  Those not wishing to attend choir may remain in the Worship Service with their parents.

11:05 a.m. Children go to their Learning Stations [see Rainbow Makers]
