Children's Sunday School

At First Baptist Church of Peoria we offer several educational opportunities for children.

Nursery - Childcare for infants is provided during both the worship and Sunday School hours
2 - 4 Year olds - Childcare for toddlers is provided during both the worship and Sunday School hours
Kindergarten Class, Primary Class (Grades 1-2)
Middle School (Grades 3-5)

For children 5 years and older, our PowerXPress program fosters the personal and spiritual growth of young people by experiencing God's Word through the 5 senses.

PowerXPress uses a learning station rotation model. Children rotate, by age group, to a different sense-related activity each week, including the Media Center. Through repetition and a variety of hands-on experiences, children have fun while learning stories of the Bible.

Each Sunday, children gather in XPress Gatherings (Rm. 311) where they experience the lesson for the week. Then understanding of God's Word is enhanced by rotation to various stations:
