Minister of Worship and Music

Worship is at the heart of the church's mission.  At First Baptist Church, we seek to offer worship that engages both heart and mind and which draws us as worshippers into the presence of God to be inspired, instructed, and called to service in God's world.  Having  the Word of God at its center, and employing a variety of musical styles, visual and experiential media, and fresh and energetic preaching, our worship equips us as the Body of Christ and centers us in the Spirit of God.  We invite you to seek the Lord (and yourself) in worship.  

Music plays a large role in worship and in the life of the church.  Please refer to the music section of the website for information about the various groups and opportunities in music at First Baptist.  We'd love to have you join us.  

Followers of Christ find places to grow and mature in their faith in small group settings.  In addition to our Sunday School groups, there are several additional small group experiences for sharing and service, and we are working on developing more.  Current groups come together for study, support, and service.  We hope that you will find your place in small group ministry.
